Control – PS5 release indicated & further projects in planning

In the course of their current financial report, developer Remedy gives a little insight into the coming months and projects that are currently being worked on. This may also indicate a release of 'Control' on the PS5.

Remedy is currently working on three major projects, including an unannounced title that will go into pre-production in 2020, Crossfire X for Xbox One, and a multiplayer live service game.

In addition, the DLC support for Control continues, as well as a possible PS5 version that is being worked on. It says:

“The high quality, uniqueness and technical innovation of Control offers the opportunity to bring the game to new platforms. We are also working to prepare for the next generation of consoles that will arrive in 2020. ”

Although this is not yet an explicit confirmation that Control actually appears for PS5, it does not seem to be completely excluded in Remedy either. In addition, there are still rumors of a new edition by Alan Wake for PlayStation, whose rights are now entirely owned by Remedy. A successor is always brought up in conversation.
