Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled – Lots of new content available as a thank you

Playfront

Even though the Gran Prix in 'Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled' is over, there shouldn't be a lack of new content that Activision and Beenox released today as a thank you to the fans.

It starts with the Beenox package, which is fully automatically activated for all players as soon as you have downloaded the corresponding update.

"Everyone is welcome to try new challenges, measure themselves against the Beenox team's best track times, explore new content at the pit stop, unlock a secret 'box' character and more."

Beenox also delivers brand new skins, karts, paintwork and tires in Beenox design as well as the automatic activation of the popular characters Crunch and Geary for the players, who the two have been missing so far. Fans can now compete against the very best, because the new spirit times in the time trial come from the fastest laps of the Beenox development team – as a reward, a new set of legendary tires awaits here.

Those who beat the best times of Oxide and Velo will also be celebrated with new trademark applications. And if you are ahead in all time races against Oxide, you will also receive a Champion Kart (if not yet activated). Players who have already beat these times will automatically receive the content described.

At the pit stop, players can then pick up three new characters, two new karts, a selection of new legendary skins, kart customization items, and more. Due to the frequent request, Beenox is rewarding players who have not yet activated it with a new version of Rilla Roo called "Corrected Rilla Roo" at the pit stop. Anyone who has unlocked the old version of Rilla Roo will receive "Corrected Rilla Roo" and can at the same time keep the original character. Objects from all eight CTR Nitro-Fueled Grand Prix seasons are again available alternately at the pit stop.

Finally, the soundtrack of each individual route is now available via the options menu. The popular Grand Prix challenges are being replaced by Wumpa challenges, with alternating daily, weekly and monthly challenges offering Wumpa coins that players can use at the pit stop. Ghost Hunt-style challenges take players back on the trail of Nina's nightmare, the Golden Wumpa Challenge remains, and tons of fantastic updates to follow.
