Crytek Seeks Employees for "An Unannounced AAA Game"

The company, which has more than five years without publishing new video games from the Crysis saga, seems to be back with a new project.

Crytek is working on a new project. The German company, which collaborates closely with Electronic Arts, has announced through its official website that they are actively seeking new employees to become part of what will be a new "unannounced AAA game".

The Crysis account revives on Twitter; are just hints for now

Specifically, the job offer makes it clear that they are looking for a technical director for their offices in Frankfurt, Germany. They do not anticipate any transcendent details about this unknown new video game, so we cannot delve into the possible saga to which this title will already belong; nor to the platforms to which it will be directed.

Crysis
Crysis returns to Twitter after three years.

Considering that just a few days ago the official Crysis Twitter account published its first message after three years of silence, it may be – there is no information about it – that this new project has to do with the EA saga. Apart from its shooter Hunt: Showdown and Warface, the company carried out the development of Ryse: Son of Rome at the beginning of the generation, the Microsoft exclusive for Xbox One. Since then, silence has taken over this study, which It stands out for the graphic power of its video games.

It is not the first time that we have heard Crytek talk about the development of a possible AAA game. Last January 2019 they already warned about a new high-class shooter in development with CryEngine and SpatialOS, although they did not indicate whether or not it was the saga that we all have now in our heads, Crysys.

What is certain is that Electronic Arts confirmed last October that it had several remasters (in plural) underway for fiscal year 2020, which will end on March 31, 2021. We can only name Command and Conquer and will port of Burnout Paradise Remastered for Nintendo Switch; of the rest of remasters, if any, we have no information.
