So far, you don't want to know anything about a next-gen version of 'Cyberpunk 2077' at CD Projekt, since you are currently striving to master the launch on the current generation. However, you don't want to rule out a PS5 and Xbox version entirely.

During a private chat, CD Projekt emphasized this again, saying that the main focus is on the current-gen version, but who knows.

"Maybe, but the current generation is currently in focus."

Despite this reluctance, it is all too obvious that every major title this year is potentially also suitable for a next-gen release. Here it should be a pure marketing strategy not to confirm this so as not to endanger the initial release.

A possible PS5 and Xbox version will be known at the earliest in the weeks after the release of Cyberpunk 2077.
