Cyberpunk 2077 in Concept Images: Watson District and Arasaka Factory

CD Projekt RED shares several illustrations of the locations that we will see in Night City, the city that never sleeps.

Under Night City’s hazy and polluted sky, thousands of people make their lives. These are times of uncertainty and danger, of cyber implants and violence. Cyberpunk 2077, the new production of CD Projekt RED, has taken an informative run and does not stop. Since it was shown in the recent streaming (also through the game’s previews), the Poles have not stopped sharing new data. The latest is a series of artworks focused on the Watson district and the Arasaka factory.

CD Projekt RED has used the video game’s official Twitter account to present these pieces of art. “In Watson there was everything,” they comment in the tweet. “Night clubs, skyscrapers, company offices, a hospital … but the economic disaster ended all that. Now, it’s known as ‘the bad neighborhood of Night City.’ ” It is the perfect place for the appearance of gangs of thugs, among which are Maelstrom and the Tyger Claws.

It will not be compatible with Windows 8

The creators of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have also officially confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will only be compatible with DirectX 12. That means that the title will work in both Windows 7 and the latest Windows 10 operating system. Instead, as Windows 8 does not have these libraries, it will be impossible to make it work on machines that use this operating system.

The CD Projekt RED production will launch on November 19 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The Google Stadia version will be delayed to a date not yet announced, while PlayStation 5 and Xbox Seriex X players will be able to enjoy the game from the moment the new systems are released. If you already have a copy of the previous generation, you will not need to pay again for the product.
