Cyberpunk 2077, patch 1.05 now available; bug fixes, improved stability and more

The Polish studio releases update 1.05 of Cyberpunk 2077. It fixes a multitude of problems and improves stability on the console, among other corrections.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases update 1.05, in which CD Projekt RED continues to fix the various issues that have been reported in the first days of sale. Beyond the fixes during the main missions, stability improvements continue to be provided for all versions, including unexpected crashes.

The patch is now available on PlayStation and Xbox models; soon it will do it on PC. Here are the complete notes. Remember that it may contain plot revelations.

Missions

  • Jackie will no longer disappear in The Pickup and The Heist.

  • Fixed an issue that didn’t allow the player to land the helicopter in Love like Fire.

  • Fixed an issue where Takamura was not calling in Play it Safe.

  • It is no longer possible to activate the same dialog twice in Big in Japan.

  • Fixed an issue where Delamain would appear face down at the end of Don’t Lose Your Mind.

  • Saul will now correctly reach the van in Riders on the Storm.

  • Fast traveling before the Tiger Claw encounter will not block I Fought the Law progression.

  • Fixed an issue that blocked progress in Ghost Town if an autosave had been created upon Shiv’s arrival.

  • Fixed an issue not allowing calls or messages to be received if Happy Together failed as a result of combat.

  • Elizabeth Peralez will stop being pushy when you declined her job offer.

  • The scene with Misty and Jackie now starts correctly after leaving Viktor’s clinic.

  • Wakako’s dialogue will no longer crash after finishing Search and Destroy.

  • Running away from Stefan in Sweet Dreams will no longer prevent other characters from calling you.

  • Brick’s detonator should now be interactive so players can disarm it. Or detonate it. You choose.

  • The elevator door will open wide in The Heist.

  • Saul will now properly get out of the car in Riders on the Storm.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented calls or messages from getting too far from Frank in War Pigs.

  • Jachie now correctly leaves the factory after finishing the match in The Pickup.

  • Fixed an issue where the Militech reinforcements would not appear correctly if you were driving through the door too fast in Forward to Death.

  • Skipping time while at the club in Violence will not cause progress to hang.

  • Fixed various issues starting the Getting Warmer quest.

  • Fixed an issue where you would not receive calls or messages after leaving Pyramid Song.

  • Fixed an issue where Delamain’s core could appear broken when the player enters the core room in Don’t Lose Your Mind.

  • Fixed issues with Delamain not appearing or no action outside of Afterlife in The Heist.

  • Fixed an issue where the “Talk to Viktor” objective would crash in The Ripperdoc.

  • Fixed an issue where the doorman in front of Lizzie could not be spoken to in The Information.

  • Added description in Don’t Lose Your Mind in the diary.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented the player from saving game, using fast travel and talking to other NPCs after loading a game with an active call with Frank in War Pigs.

  • Fixed an issue where Panama would not call until I’ll Fly Away was completed.

  • Fixed an issue where Dum Dum would follow V after The Pickup ended.

Gameplay

  • Improved reaction times for NPCs when taking cover.

  • Fixed the number of shots required to kill civilians from a distance while in combat.

Visual

  • Fixed an issue with Delamain’s image displayed on top during a phone call.

  • V’s mouth does not remain open after entering the closed space of Where is My Mind.

  • Fixed various interface overlays.

  • V now appears more subdued in the inventory preview after the mid-year build.

  • NPCs appear faster in the Stadium Love mission area.

  • Added fixes in HDR.

  • Fixed the T position of the NPCs in Just Say No and Hot Merchandise.

  • Fixed an issue where after a neurodance it was possible to lock the third person camera without a head.

  • Silencer icons no longer appear without an image in inventory.

Interface

  • Fixed an issue where the weapon sight would remain on screen.

  • The inventory menu no longer closes immediately after opening it for the first time after leaving a vehicle.

  • Fixed an issue where when accessing a fast travel terminal an icon to open the mission log would appear that did not work.

Performance and stability

  • Multiple stability improvements, including unexpected crashes.

Others

  • Explosions not appearing on screen now make noise.

PC specific

  • Optimized the use of the 4 and 6 cores in AMD Ryzen processors. Processors with 8, 12 and 16 cores remain unchanged and behaving as they should.

  • Fixed a problem in the way commands were received.

  • Eliminated the use of the AVX instruction that occurred at the end of the prologue on processors that do not support AVX.

  • Removed the debug console to prevent functions that could reach closures or blocked missions.

  • Ray traced reflections should no longer appear as bright compared to the stage.

  • Fixed an issue with a crash when opening the Steam screen.

  • Deleted the memory_pool_budgets.csv file.

Console specific

  • Improved image sharpness when using cinematic grain and chromatic aberration.

  • Settings should no longer reset to defaults after multiple session restarts.

  • Fixed various issues during transitions between The Heist and Love Like Fire.

  • Fixed the appearance of several vehicles.

  • [Xbox] Entering combat while using the Synaptic Accelerator stops blocking the health bar display.

  • [Xbox] The game stopped not responding when you logged out of a profile when the controller disconnect message was visible.

  • The telemetry request will appear again after an early error with resetting the settings.

  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to fall through the elevator in Megabuilding H8 in Automatic Love.
