Death Stranding novels now available in Japan

A series of two books based on Death Stranding reaches the Japanese shelves by one of the scriptwriters of the game of Hideo Kojima.

As expected, the launch of Death Stranding is giving much to talk about the new game of one of the legends of the video game industry and the peculiarity of its proposal, so much, that it will even have its own adaptation to two novels. These are already available in the Japanese market, being somewhat predictable, but completely uncertain for now, that they will have at least English translation.

In addition to these two editions there will be another in a metal box with both included for which players will have to wait until February 28, with the fabulous art of Pablo Uchida. As we said, for now it is not confirmed that they will arrive in other languages, but it is very likely, especially considering that these novels are written by one of the scriptwriters of the game, Kenji Yano.

It would not be surprising if we saw more adaptations to other Death Stranding media, much less even to the cinema, more thinking about Kojima's well-known fondness for the big screen and the cinematic script of which he presumes his new game, the first after his tortuous exit from Konami.

Game Candidate of the Year

Death Stranding is one of the candidates for Game of the Year in the next gala of The Game Awards to be held on December 13, an award with which he shares candidacy with other great games such as Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Control, Resident Evil 2, The Outer Worlds and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. This candidacy raised suspicions due to the friendship that exists between Geoff Keighley, producer and presenter of the event, and Hideo Kojima. There is no doubt that Death Stranding has been one of the games with more polarized opinions of 2019, with defenders and detractors equally as staunch both.
