Devil May Cry 5: Vergil is also coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Capcom recently announced a Special Edition with several unreleased content for the new generation of consoles.

Vergil will not display his combat skills only on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. The character will also debut in the current generation version of Devil May Cry 5, as Capcom has reported in his Tokyo Game Show 2020 conference. Dante’s brother will arrive as paid DLC, although most of the special features in Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition will be exclusive to the new systems.

Matt Walker, the producer of the video game, detailed all the news in an article published on the official PlayStation blog. In his words, the creatives turned to ray tracing to offer “even more realistic lighting.” Ray tracing will not be available on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S from day one. As reported by Capcom, they will implement it later, but have not set a more specific date.

The intention of the Japanese is to reach 30 fps in 4K and 60 fps in 1080p resolution. Still, those with a 120 fps compatible television will also have the opportunity to set it up like this.
