Codemasters presents the novelties of the main mode of its next ralli racing video game with a multitude of events and two very special guests.

Dirt 5 was recently introduced with numerous new features planned for the current and the next generation, with a launch scheduled for next October. Now, its managers have shared numerous details of the star mode of this new installment, career mode, a game mode loaded with events, challenges, decision-making, ramifications and the presence of two very special guests who will lend their voices: the actors. Troy Baker and Nolan North, famous for their involvement in the video game industry for lending their voices to different characters, each more popular.

Deep story mode with decisions

Thus, Codemasters wanted to make it clear that story mode is a very important part of Dirt 5, offering an immersive, dynamic, action-packed gaming experience that will invite us to race races across all continents. Thus, at the beginning of our career as drivers we will draw the attention of the champion of off-road racing Alex Janicek, played by Troy Baker, and who will invite us to be his apprentice.

Likewise, Alex’s rival, Bruno Durand, a very calculating and competitive driver and played by Nolan North, will position himself as the rival to beat throughout the campaign; All this will be constantly splashed by a narrative that will lead us throughout this new universe of off-road racing and in which we will have to overcome obstacles to reach the top as drivers.

According to its managers, the story of Dirt 5 will unfold over 5 chapters; Each of these episodes will be divided into different ramifications that we can take according to our decisions, taking one path or the other in our ascent as professional pilots, with more than 130 different events through 9 types of driving. If we overcome challenges we will get stamps with which to unlock new categories, all to challenge the toughest pilots in the so-called Throwdown events.

Finally, we will have at our disposal 20 brands of sponsors with their own designs for the vehicles, with the possibility of playing split screen with other players to help us in the races. We look forward to hearing new details about Dirt 5 over the coming months until its October release for PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Stadia.
