DOOM Eternal will have a classic view with weapons in the center of the screen

The new DOOM will feature a classic exit view that transports us to the 1990s, when the weapons were in the center of the screen.

Despite the delay of DOOM Eternal, which will finally not be released until March 20, 2020, the hype for the game continues to increase with the news. The last one has to do with the new video that comes to us from the title and that allows us to appreciate that there will be a classic view available for departure. This option, which was also implemented in the previous one but weeks after its launch, puts the weapons in the center of the screen, as was usual in the shooters of the nineties, and especially in the saga of id Software. Surely more than one nostalgic resort to it despite the difficulty of targeting, which requires aligning the enemies before us to hit the target.

It may seem like a detail, but it is due to this type of detail that DOOM Eternal has become one of the most anticipated games of 2020. Overcoming the previous 9.5 is not an easy task, but from Bethesda and id Software already warn: this new Delivery is the best thing they have ever done. Among the reasons for thinking like this are, for example, that it will last even longer than the 2016 title (which was around twelve hours) and its new Battlemode mode, where we will become a demon.

The game will be released, as we said, on March 20, 2020, and will do so for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia. There is also a version confirmed for Nintendo Switch, but it still has no release date (the previous port took more than a year and a half compared to the original). Bethesda has made it clear on several occasions that he considers it a very positive experience to have taken his titles in the Nintendo hybrid. Now that they know the platform, from the developer they aspire to reach 40 frames per second on the console. We will see what remains and how we manage to endure until the return of the doomslayer.
