Those who have not had enough of the re-release of the classic DOOM games can look forward to a free update soon, with the Bethesda Final DOOM and Sigil released.
This was announced by the publisher during the 26th Anniversary of the shooter. Final DOOM includes 32 additional levels added to the game in 1996. With Sigil, however, expect 9 additional single-player stages, as well as 9 new deathmatch levels, which were personally created by John Romero.
In addition it says:
"After killing the Spidermastermind at the end of E4M8 (Unto the Cruel), your next assignment is to eliminate the Hellbane that is causing unimaginable carnage in the cities of the earth. But Baphomet shut down the last teleporter with its hidden seal, whose misery brings you back to even darker shores of hell. You fight your way through this stygian pocket of evil to face the ultimate harbingers of Satan, and finally return to become the Savior of the Earth. "
Unfortunately, Bethesda does not reveal exactly when the update will be available.
