The latest issue of V-Jump magazine reveals, with images included, how the original plot of the game will continue shortly.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will officially expand its history and content through DLC. The latest issue of Shueisha's monthly V-Jump magazine has revealed not only Bandai Namco's plans with the successful title of CyberConnect2 but has put the first and last name to the first paid content: an original story where humans have become dogs.
Humans turned into dogs, a mysterious tree …
According to the pages of the magazine, a drug has turned human beings into furries. These dogs cannot return to their human form because of the poor quality of these drugs, produced in a very complete way. Even the king of the world has become a dog.
Also, another parallel story will revolve around the Saiyan race: "The tails of the Saiyan stop growing if their human form becomes stronger than the transformation into a monkey," can be read in one of the scans. In both cases, these would be alternative, original stories that were not told in the original work of Akira Toriyama.
This DLC content, which is unknown how much it will cost and when it will go on sale, will include a mysterious tree that has not been given more details. Finally, in one of the images you can see what appears to be (not far from confirmed) the house of Beerus, Dragon Ball Super.
Hopefully Bandai Namco Entertainment will confirm and expand this information soon.
Dragon Ball Super in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot? First hints
In case of confirming that Dragon Ball Super will arrive in the video game and leaving Dragon Ball GT aside, which is not considered a canon within the universe of Akira Toriyama, the facts told in the main story of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be thus continued by the official events that take place immediately after the saga of Bu, that of the God of Destruction, Beerus (Bills in Spain) and his assistant Whis.
This saga, which covers the first fourteen episodes of Dragon Ball Super (2015), is based on the adaptation to the cinema under the same name issued two years earlier, Dragon Ball Z: The Battle of the Gods.
According to the pages of the magazine, many changes are not coming with respect to what was narrated by Toei Animation in the original series: Beerus is in search of Super Saiyan God, the only one who can face it after years without finding a rival at the height. This circumstance will take Beerus and Whis to Earth, where he will meet Goku, Vegeta and the other Z Warriors; who lived at that time in total peace and quiet.
Meanwhile, in this article we reflect on everything we miss in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot; mainly in the playable and adventure section.
