The tenth numbered episode of the saga can therefore be played on tablets, mobile phones and computers, confirms Square Enix.

Square Enix has announced a web browser version of Dragon Quest X. The title, the only incursion of the saga under the MMORPG genre, is still looking for new ways to stay alive in the market and will arrive in 2020 to Chrome, Safari and other browsers in Japan .

The title is currently available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC, but now it will have a simpler way to be executed and, according to the Japanese editor, more accessible, although they have not detailed whether it will be via streaming or there will be a previous download of content.

To check that everything works correctly, current Dragon Quest X players in Japan can now sign up for a beta that will take place from December 2 to December 20; the specific hours can be consulted here. There are still no plans to launch the game in the West.

New Dragon Quest X expansion available since October

Last October, the latest and most innovative expansion of Dragon Quest X, Dragon Quest X: Ibara no Miko to Horobi no Kami Online (The Maiden of Thorns and the God of Destruction / The Maiden of Thorns and the God of Thorns and the God of the destruction), available on PS4, Switch, PC and Wii U under digital distribution. It is, in essence, version 5.0 of the game and includes a new story with a multitude of hours of content.

However, the game originally directed by Jin Fujisawa in 2012 faces its seventh year in stores with a monthly payment fee to be part of that expansive universe that is the tenth episode of the saga.

After the launch of the successful Dragon Quest XI on PS4 and recently on Nintendo Switch, Square Enix has recognized being already immersed in the development of the next canonical installment of the series, which will arrive in the next generation of consoles.
