eFootball PES 2021: Data Pack 3.0 now available for free

This installment of Konami’s football simulator is not a new game as such, but a seasonal update.

Konami has announced that eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE Data Pack 3.0 is now available for download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. As reported by the company in a press release, the faces of up to 85 footballers have been updated, including Roger Ibañez (AS Roma), Jérémy Doku (Rennes), Pedri (FC Barcelona), Mislav Oršić (Dinamo Zagreb) and Orkun Kökçü (Feyenoord).

As if that weren’t enough, Data Pack 3.0 will also include more updated kits, corresponding to 100 teams such as the national teams of Italy, Brazil, Wales and Bulgaria. At the same time, FC Nantes, AS Monaco and AS Roma will also show their current kits. On the other hand, PES 2021 has revealed new players of the Iconic Moments Series in several myClub campaigns. The arrival of new campaigns is scheduled for next month.

Other new features of Data Pack 3.0 include the update of the appearance of the Camp Nou stadium, of FC Barcelona, ​​as well as the official winter ball of the Russian Premier League 2020-21. Five new Adidas boots are also introduced (Copa 20+ Motion Blur, Nemeziz 20+ Motion Blur, Nemeziz Messi 20.1, Predator 20+ Motion Blur, X 20+ Motion Blur); one from NIKE (PHANTOM GT ELITE).

eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE is not a new game as such. Konami assured that it was working on a new generation version, so it needed to focus its efforts on designing the next installment of the series. Starting next year, the Japanese company will stop using the Fox Engine, an engine designed for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Instead it will use the cross-platform Unreal Engine.
