Epic Games Store: now available the fourth free Christmas game

The Epic store gives away another game for free on the occasion of its 12 days, 12 games and its Christmas offers, which are full of discounts and free games.

First it was Into the Breach, then Towerfall: Ascension, yesterday 22 Superhot and now, Little Inferno. The Epic Games Store continues with its particular collection of Christmas gifts and from today you can download free here Little Inferno, which will be available until 17:00 in the afternoon. It is a promotion of the Epic platform that, to promote its Christmas offers, gives us a game for every day that remains until next January 1.

Launched in 2012 for PC (later it would reach Wii U and iPad), Little Inferno was the second game of the creators of World of Goo, considered one of the most successful indies of its time and one of the first in charge of turning the attention of the industry towards the creations of smaller budget, those that use their ingenuity and creative capacity. The game consists solely and exclusively of burning things, there being no other objective than to buy all kinds of objects to take to the stake. As we burn things we will earn money … which will serve to invest in more things that turn on and serve as fuel and relief to our pyromania. Where 2D Boy's work really stands out is in the critical message that is in the background and in the sense of humor so characteristic that it surrounds it. Discovering why we are burning everything and what Little Inferno wants to tell is what makes this peculiar indie go “one step further” that, otherwise, for those only interested in the playable, is more experience than videogame. There is no better way to give it a try than trying it for free and if you are still not sure, you can read more about it in our Reviews, where it took a 7.5.
