Legends Parade Lineup
Mathias Lauda’s passionate homage was joined by an ensemble of historic cars colouring the Spielberg circuit. The parade featured the 1976 Lotus 77, 1976 Tyrrell P34, 1977 Tyrrell P34B, 1978 Brabham BT46B, 1981 Lotus 88, 1983 Brabham BT52, 1983 Brabham BT52B, 2002 Ferrari F2002, and the 2010 Red Bull RB6. Drivers such as Jan Lammers, Pier Luigi Martini, Paolo Barilla, Jean Alesi, Karl Wendlinger, Christian Danner, Mark Webber, Rubens Barrichello, and David Coulthard were also present to support the historic display.
Austrian GP Highlights
After the parade, Mercedes’ George Russell translated pole position into a victory, with Max Verstappen finishing second and current championship leader Kimi Antonelli taking third. Lauda, who had already featured as a Mercedes F1 guest during the weekend, watched the field burn up the podium, a fitting backdrop to his father’s indelible legacy on Austrian soil.
