Square Enix's work, which was delayed until April 2020, remains intractable in Japanese territory, although Tales of Arise follows.
Final Fantasy VII Remake repeats again as the most desired video game in Japan, at least for the readers of Famitsu magazine. The Japanese publication reviews the most anticipated productions through direct voting, this time collected from December 26 until January 8, before the delay was announced. As you can see, the second position also remains immovable, with Tales of Arise, the RPG of Bandai Namco, as one of the most anticipated productions of the moment.
Other important games that will be released in the coming months are listed, such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Resident Evil 3 Remake or Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. Less clear is the launch window of Bayonetta 3, the exclusive Nintendo Switch that has not yet poked its head since its official announcement. For its part, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, unveiled during E3 2019, is also among the most desired.

Final Fantasy VII Remake was scheduled for March 3, but the Japanese company announced that it needed more time to polish the gaming experience. However, the delay will not be too long, as it is expected to be sold on April 10 for PlayStation 4. In recent weeks, other high-budget games have modified their release dates, such as Marvel's Avengers or Cyberpunk 2077
