Famitsu magazine has distributed new captures of the expected Square Enix video game, which returns more than 20 years later.

The revamped version of Final Fantasy VII Remake has been seen again in unpublished captures published by the Japanese magazine Famitsu. The title, which has just presented its soundtrack in vinyl format, covers some of the scenarios in images, but also allows us to observe other prints, such as the appearance of Shiva and Shinra president in the remake or some ingame scenes of the video game.

Square Enix's work starts from the base, the classic game, but its playability is modified to adapt to a new style of game more focused on action, although it does not lose its strategic component. Shiva and the other invocations work differently in the remake, since when summoning them, they fight alongside our team for a limited period of time. Although the player cannot control the invocation, he can trigger a very powerful final attack.

New trailer focused on Cloud

The Game Awards 2019 has been the setting chosen by the Japanese company to share a new trailer. On this occasion, the video is focused on Cloud Strife, protagonist of the title. The former Soldier member will join a resistance group to end the evil reign of Shinra, a company that operates in Midgar and whose dark designs do not seem to end. Together with iconic characters such as Aeris, Tifa or Barrett, the protagonist will fight in fierce battles, all while traveling through a world full of surprises.

However, Final Fantasy VII Remake, which will go on sale on March 3, 2020 (exclusive of one year on PS4), has been conceived as an episodic product. That means that the first installment will be only a first approach to the world of the seventh installment. According to the developers, each of the episodes will form a complete whole, in the sense that they will feel like whole video games. At the moment the number of chapters has not been announced, so we will have to wait for Square Enix to present its roadmap.
