Final Fantasy VII Remake shows three of his short video invocations

Square Enix presents Cactilio, Rubí and Chocobo Chick, several of the allies who will help us during the adventure.

Barret, Tifa, Aeris, Red XIII … all these characters contribute to the fight against Shinra and are the friendships that Cloud needs to survive in a world full of monsters. Even so, they are not the only allies you can count on. In addition to Avalanche members and other friends who will help you, invocations will play an important role in the battles that are about to unfold. Through the official Twitter account of Final Fantasy VII Remake, Square Enix has published three small videos of Ruby, Cactilio and Chocobito.

Unlike the original game, the invocations in this remake will work in a similar way to those in Final Fantasy XII. Instead of appearing, launching their attack and disappearing, the creatures will remain on the battlefield for a specific interval of time. During that period they will move automatically, although the player will have the opportunity to select the final attack, as explained by Yoshinori Kitase, director of the classic and producer of this new version.

Kitase himself acknowledged in a recent interview that Final Fantasy VII Remake has exceeded his own expectations. In fact, he says he is one of the members of the company that most pressed for the game to come true. He also affirms that he is eager to take command and enjoy the experience. As the date approaches, Square Enix continues to refine its marketing machinery and has begun uncovering all kinds of production material.

A reopened opening

The sequence of introduction of the video game has changed with respect to that of the classic. At the beginning some notes of One Winged Angel sound, Sephiroth's leitmotif, which merges with the theme of Aeris. Before that happens, the opening gives us a good account of Midgar's dimensions, of his daily life and of his appearance in daylight. However, the light turns dark when the Mako reactor shines with its green colors. In the following article you can see the comparison made by FreeGameTips, in which both introductions are put face to face.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is planned for PlayStation 4, although its exclusive is temporary. After a delay of just over a month, the game will be marketed on April 10, 2020. This is the first part, since the production will be divided into episodes. Despite this, Square Enix has been sparing in detail about it and has not reported either the number of chapters or the possible launch window of each of them. The only thing confirmed is that they are already immersed in the development of the second installment.
