The Square Enix game is ranked as the most anticipated title in the video game industry in Japan; recently delayed to the month of April.
Final Fantasy VII Remake has started the year 2020 as the most anticipated video game of the year in Japan, according to the latest estimate of the weekly magazine Famitsu in the period between December 26 and January 8. The expected work of Square Enix, which has suffered a delay until next April, doubles the votes cast regarding the second most anticipated game, Tales of Arise.
1956 votes attest to the high interest aroused by the reimagined version of Final Fantasy VII, the title that ended up consolidating the saga in the West and which had more social influence over the years. That is why it has been the seventh installment chosen to have a remake of this category. Four years after its announcement, the game may disappear from the ranking of most anticipated titles in Japan almost continuously.
Tales of Arise | Bandai Namco
Tales of Arise is another of the great desired for 2020. Although its release date is yet to be determined for PS4, Xbox One and PC, the new Bandai Namco aims to become the most ambitious title of the license both in terms of technical as in the playable plane.
The last step of the podium is occupied by Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the first iteration of the main saga in seven years and a clear postulate to become one of the best-selling video games of 2020. Its premiere, exclusively for Nintendo Switch this 20th of March is Nintendo's main asset for this course, at least from the publicly known release schedule.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will premiere on April 10, 2020 exclusively for PlayStation 4, a temporary exclusivity that will last a year.
