The revamped version of the Square Enix classic clears its systems in small videos posted on the social network Twitter.
More than twenty years have passed from 1997 to 2020, long enough for a reimagined version of one of the imperishable classics of Square Enix to adapt to current times. Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released early next year with a proposal that advocates renewing its combat system, as well as other aspects of the game. However, some of its bases, such as invocations, are explained by the Yoshinori Kitase, producer of the title.
Through the official Twitter account of Final Fantasy VII Remake, Kitase has said the following: “The player equips the subject of invocation, which is activated when fighting against bosses or against certain powerful enemies, and when certain conditions are met. Then you can choose the 'matter' command while it is shining. ” In doing so, the invocation will access the battlefield and fight alongside the characters for a limited time, as in Final Fantasy XII.
In the video that accompanies the tweet appears Ifrit, who battles independently, without the player being able to control his actions in any way, except for his final attack, which the user can activate when the ATB bar is filled in completely. This gives us the opportunity to trigger a very powerful blow.
