Final Fantasy XIV – New patch promises fresh content for Blaumagier & PvP players

Square Enix has released another update for 'Final Fantasy XIV' which promises fresh content for blue agers and PvP players. This update brings new challenges to Warrior of the Light, including a new PvP mode. In addition, the patch includes the new content for the limited job of the Blue Lagoon, which can be enjoyed either alone or together with friends.

More details about the contents of patch 5.15 are listed below:

  • New PvP Front: Onsal Hakair (Danshig Naadam) – On this new battlefield, including a new map and a new set of rules, the Eorzea State Forces enter into alliances with the tribes of the Ra Xaela Azim steppe in this grand display of martial arts to fight for supremacy over the area. Each team must work to conquer "innocence spots" – places that earn the team victory points while controlling them. The first fraction that achieves the required score will be the winner.
  • Updates for the job of the Blue Lagoon – The first limited job of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online gets its first major update since its launch earlier this year.
    • Maximum level increased from level 50 to 60
    • New job orders of blue magician
    • Learn more classic magical Blaumagier
    • Additional screenings in the Big Masquerade – Blue Magicians can face up to this exclusively blue-legged material for weekly rewards.
    • Introducing the Blue Lagoon Journal – Players form a full cast of Blue Lagers to overcome various dungeons and trials through cooperation and strategy using only Blue Magic. Weekly rewards can be obtained by defeating specific targets, including particularly heavy "special targets" that promise even greater rewards.
  • New mount, new companion, new synthesis recipes, achievements and more.

All details on the current update are available on the official site as usual.
