How to free and claim the sidekick
- Drop onto the lower building of Sinister Strip.
- Scavenge nearby weaponry to prepare for combat.
- Neutralize every guard surrounding the cage.
- Press the interaction key (X/Square on console, E on PC) to open the cage.
- Pet the dog by using the same interact button to complete the rescue.
Completing these actions unlocks the dog as a playable Sidekick, provided the player holds the Chapter 7 Season 3 Battle Pass.
Ownership requirements and alternative options
Only Battle Pass holders receive the John Wick’s Dog sidekick; however, the rescue can be performed even after another squad has opened the cage—simply interact with the freed dog to claim it.
