First trailer of Death Come True, the new from the creator of Danganronpa

A serial killer who loses his memory, that is the role we will play in the new Inazagi Games, an FMV game that will arrive throughout 2020.

The new project of the creator of Danganronpa already has a name and surname. This is Death Come True, a title in which Kazutaka Kodaka will leave behind the visual novels and move to the FMV (Full Motion Video) games. Although it was announced a few days ago, it has not been until today that we had a first trailer of it, a brief synopsis of its history and the confirmation of its launch platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android.

“The story takes place in a hotel. The main character, Makoto Karaki (played by Kanata Hongo) is a serial killer who is searching and capturing and who, however, has lost all of his memories. As they persecute you for being a criminal, who can you trust? Whose should I be cautious about? What is your true identity? In this situation, Makoto only has a mysterious ability that, when he dies, allows him to jump in time and return to the past. He must seek the truth about himself by repeating decisions and dodging death, ”said his study, Inazagi Games.

Will it be translated into Spanish?

The music of Death Come True will be composed by Masafumi Takada, who also composed the melodies of the Danganronpa saga and who has been in charge of the soundtrack of games such as The Evil Within or Killer7. The title will arrive in 2020 and its producer, Shinsuke Umed, has assured that they are working on its translation into multiple languages, so it is time to cross your fingers and hope that Spanish is one of them. Understanding history is essential in projects like these, in which everything is committed to the narrative. Written and directed by Kazutaka Kodaka, it is intended to return us to the graphic adventures of the late eighties and nineties, when some games consisted of prerecorded video files with real actors, in which we had to make decisions and solve puzzles between a video and other.
