For Honor – New in-game event for the anniversary

On the occasion of the third anniversary of ‘For Honor’, Ubisoft has announced a new in-game event that is available now and until February 27th.

After the danger from the great cataclysm was averted, the leaders of Heathmoor invited the greatest warriors of all factions to celebrate the “Peace of Lindenwurm Valley” in the Honor Games. The in-game event offers a variation of the popular carousel of death popular time-limited game mode.

The first time a player dies in this 4v4 annihilation game mode, they return to the game after 5 seconds. However, if the player dies, five seconds are added to the respawn time each time. A team wins when all other players are eliminated at the same time. During the first week of this anniversary event, “Carousel of Fire” with damage boosts and flaming geysers will get an additional twist in the arena. There will be another surprising gameplay change that will be announced during the second week of the event.

During this time-limited event, the For Honor card will be adjusted and changed according to the course of the event. So you can see fireworks, musicians with spectators and for the first time, fan art banners from the For Honor community. The Honor games also bring a lot of themed loot and event-specific content, including a new battle gear, a helmet piece, an effect, and brand new instrument emotes that are available to all heroes. Until March 2nd, players can purchase this “Honor Games” bundle for 30,000 steel. This includes the full loot and all content from the event.

After the release in February 2017, For Honor now begins the fourth year of post-launch support, called Year of Settlement, with Year 4 – Season 1 “Hope” and is pleased about a community of more than 20 million players worldwide.
