On Wednesday April 29, 2020 patch 12.50 hit Fortnite. This Fortnite Battle Pass Chapter 2 Season 2 content update brought several changes and new features. In this news we collect them, and we also give you the patch notes:

Bug fixes and fixes for Fortnite patch 12.50
As always, patch 12.50 brings with it the correction of various game bugs. Epic Games has not released patch notes as such, but instead has posted this info on their Trello:
General arrangements
- Fortnite suffered unexpected drops in resolution and frame rate after patch 12.41. This has been fixed.
Specific Fortnite Battle Royale fixes
- Local challenges did not appear when entering a new area of the map. Yes now.
- Skye's Adventure "Block Damage with a Kingsman" challenge did not count progress correctly. Yes now.
Fortnite Party Royale: new map and new game mode leaked
References to a new map and a new game mode: Party Royale have been found among the new Fortnite patch 12.50 files.

According to an email sent by Epic Games to various data miners such as lucas7yoshi, Party Royale would be "a stress-free space in which to leave weapons behind."
