The August 10, 2026 teaser streamed on Sonic’s official social accounts, showcasing Peely activating the Sonic Spin Dash Mythic, which grants a supersonic speed boost that lets the character circle steep slopes without taking fall damage.
Upon activation a blue aura surrounds Peely, signaling the Mythic is active. The speed can be utilized to glide through the newly added Sonic Green Hills Zone on any slope, carrying the player upward without risk of falling.
The zone itself features rings similar to the franchise’s Gold Rings. Collecting these rewards presumptively provides experience points or a small power‑up, as shown in the teaser.
