Epic Games plans to completely eliminate the legacy targeting system in Fortnite Battle Royale, something that will change the game for users with command.
As you know by now, Fortnite Battle Royale is available on virtually all current platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and mobile. The fact that it is multiplatform also makes it have various control systems and pointing aids, especially for players with command. Epic Games plans to hack the aid of Legado, one of its most popular systems, sooner rather than later. Here’s how Fortnite Chapter 2 will affect this, which is in Season 2 of your Battle Pass:
Fortnite: what is Legado's targeted help, and why Epic Games plans to eliminate it
In a tweet published on March 6, 2020 in the FortniteStatus Twitter account, Epic Games made public its intention to completely eliminate Fortnite's Legacy targeting help:
Note: Players who have “Use Legacy Look Controls” enabled when the setting is removed will have their legacy sensitivities automatically converted to the new Sensitivity settings.

We quote Epic textually: "With the improvements we have made in the targeted help, we plan to eliminate the option 'Use Legacy View Controls' on March 13." In addition, they add that "players who have the option 'Use Legacy view controls' enabled when it is removed will see how their sensitivity settings will be maintained with the new system."
The "Use Legacy view controls" option is in Settings> Remote control options> Advanced options
Since most Fortnite Battle Royale players play with command, it is expected that there will be a stir when this option is completely eliminated within a few days. Moreover, taking into account the weight of these players in their overall calculation, even veterans and professional Fortnite players did not even consider that Epic Games was going to touch these sensitivity settings. Until, apparently, they seemed to be right.
Several players noticed that this targeted help system for commanded players was too exaggerated at the beginning of Fortnite Chapter 2, season 11 of Fortnite Battle Royale. For example, watch this Twitter video from user @OrangeGuy_YT. In it we can see how the target is able to detect an enemy player inside a house (ergo through walls) at a distance of about 100 meters.
Explain this controller players😃👍 #aimassist pic.twitter.com/iZjpzgMAkQ

In this other Twitter video of the user @The_FortniteGuy we can see how this targeted assistance can "see" a completely invisible player hidden inside a cornfield:
Wtf @ UnknownxArmy1x literally tracking people through bushes LMAO pic.twitter.com/htIVyQGFdo

We will have to see the reaction of the community once this system is removed from the game. If you play with Fortnite Battle Royale, once the "Legacy" option is removed, you can only use two other systems for the vision control curve: Linear, or Exponential.
