We tell you how to get the Hulk Smasher pickaxe and his additional Hulkbuster style in Fortnite thanks to the Marvel’s Avengers beta.

On Friday, August 14, the public beta of Marvel’s Avengers began on PlayStation 4. Since then, all players who own this platform can get the Hulk pickaxe for free in Fortnite. This crossover with the Epic Games title falls within Season 3 of the Battle Pass. Next we leave you the necessary information to get this object in Fortnite Chapter 2:

With the arrival of the Marvel’s Avengers public beta on PS4, it is now possible to get the Hulk spikes in Fortnite without having to reserve the Avengers video game, since there was a beta prior to this exclusive for those who reserved it. The steps to follow to obtain the Hulk pickaxe in Fortnite are the following:

  • We downloaded the beta of Marvel’s Avengers on PlayStation 4. Here’s how to do this.
  • We start the beta. In order to play it, you need to create a Square Enix account. We follow all the instructions on the screen to do this, or we enter this link to create it through the web browser. It may take a while for the account confirmation email to arrive because there have been problems with the servers.
  • We linked our PlayStation Network account to the Square Enix account (this is one of the necessary steps when creating the Square Enix account) and we also linked our PlayStation Network account with that of Epic Games. The latter is done at this link on the Epic Games website.
  • We link our Square Enix account with Epic Games (here we tell you how this is done).
  • We play the beta normally, completing all the missions until we reach one in which it is a virtual reality tutorial in which we learn to play as Iron Man.
  • When we have completed this last mission, we go to the command center, which is where we choose mission. Here, we select the Helicarrier.
  • Inside it we will see the mission “HARM CHALLENGE 1”. We have to complete it to unlock the HARM CHALLENGE 2, and also the latter to unlock the HARM CHALLENGE 3. Basically they are combat missions in which we face waves of enemies of all kinds along with three other heroes, who can be controlled by the AI or by other players. Remember that you can reduce the difficulty (we recommend you lower it to Challenge I to make it as simple as possible).
  • When we have completed the three HARM challenges, we log into Fortnite on PlayStation 4. As soon as we enter the Battle Royale room, we will obtain the Hulk Smasher pickaxe, and his additional Hulkbuster style.

    How to get the Hulk picks in Fortnite if I can’t play the Marvel’s Avengers beta?

    Hulk picks in Fortnite can be earned by playing the Marvel’s Avengers beta on the following platforms for the following time periods:

    • August 7-9: Pre-Order Beta for PlayStation 4 (only available to players who have pre-ordered Marvel’s Avengers on PlayStation 4).
    • August 14-16: Open Beta for PlayStation 4 (all players who download it can participate, regardless of whether or not they pre-ordered Marvel’s Avengers on PlayStation 4).
    • August 14-16: Xbox One Beta Pre-Order (only available to players who have pre-ordered Marvel’s Avengers on Xbox One).
    • August 21-23: Open Beta for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (all PS4 and Xbox One players will be able to participate in it, regardless of whether or not they pre-ordered Marvel’s Avengers on either of these two platforms).

    If for some reason you cannot play the beta, the Hulk Smasher pickaxe and its additional Hulkbuster style will arrive in the Fortnite Battle Royale V-Bucket store in the future, although they will not be free, but will have to be paid for.
