Now, in addition to buying it directly in the store with V-Bucks (the virtual currency of Fortnite Battle Royale, exchangeable for real money), there is a method to obtain it for free. If we buy Star Wars: Squadrons in the Epic Games Store (in this link), as a gift we will get the X-wing delta wing of the Vanguard Squad in Fortnite Battle Royale. We have until October 2, 2021 at 4:59 p.m. CEST to participate in this promotion. Star Wars: Squadrons will be released on October 2, 2020.
It is not the first time that Electronic Arts, distributor of Star Wars: Squadrons, and Epic Games reach an agreement of this type. With Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, a video game set in the Star Wars universe released in 2019, a similar promotion was made; If we buy it in the Epic Games Store for a limited time, as a gift we would get the Imperial Stormtrooper skin for Fortnite Battle Royale.
The Imperial Stormtrooper Star Wars skin was gifted to players who purchased Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order from the Epic Games Store
It is our duty to remind you that these types of objects do not influence Fortnite Battle Royale beyond their visual impact. They are accessories that we can choose for our character to use. In other words: they don’t make us “stronger”, or that we have “more life”; they are simply aesthetic objects.
