On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, patch 11.50 arrived in Fortnite. This new content update, belonging to Season 1 of the Fortnite Battle Pass Chapter 2, brought with it many changes and novelties, among which we highlight the implementation of the new Chaos physics system or the return of the launching platforms. We tell you everything you need to know below:

Fortnite: this is the new Chaos physics system of patch 11.50

Although it was announced with hype and saucer as one of the novelties of Fortnite weight during 2020, the truth is that, as several dataminers have verified, the Chaos physics system does not contribute any appreciable difference to the game:

Fortnite Battle Royale: Launch platforms return in patch 11.50

Fortnite launch platforms are a floor trap that allow us to jump on them and deploy our hang gliding, serving as one of the most efficient travel methods in the entire game. He was retired in one of the previous versions of Fortnite Battle Royale, and given the enormous absence of mobility in Chapter 2, many players asked for his return … and here it is.

Bug fix for Fortnite Battle Royale patch 11.50

The classic error correction of all kinds in Fortnite Battle Royale is not missing. The complete list is as follows:

  • Fixed a bug that caused the "Register chests in the same game" challenge of rising Chaos not to be saved correctly for some players after it was completed.
  • Now, the extra time challenge "Get gold medals from scrap metal" by Blandito vs. Viscoso records progress correctly.
  • The option to switch to a better weapon is no longer available in competitive queues. Their availability in these queues was unintended, as we mentioned in our publication of v.11.40.
  • Fixed a bug that caused new console players to have pairing problems after linking their Epic account for the first time.
  • Fixed an issue that caused iOS players to activate the swipe up of their device by pressing inventory buttons.
