Fortnite - Patch Notes 11.31.1: Changes and News

We tell you what are the most important changes and developments in Fortnite patch 11.31.1 Chapter 2. Urgent update to correct errors.

On December 19, 2019, patch 11.31.1 arrived at Fortnite Battle Royale. This update of emergency content corresponding to Season 1 of the Battle Pass of Fortnite Chapter 2 came suddenly and, by its nomenclature, was an emergency patch dedicated exclusively to correct critical game errors. We tell you everything we know about it below, although there are no patch notes as such:

We learned of the existence of this update thanks to the FortniteStatus Twitter account, an official Fortnite / Epic Games account dedicated to publishing updates regarding the successive patches that come out of the game.

As we can see by several tweets on chain on December 19, update 11.31.1 arrived, in a staggered way, to different platforms that run the game:

This patch came, in this order, to the versions of PC, Android, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Mac, Nintendo Switch and iOS. The FortniteStatus account said nothing concrete about the reason for this patch, beyond a brief "is to make the game more stable, and solve other problems."

This patch, as they commented in the tweet thread that we have embedded in this news previously, required an additional download, although the game was not in a maintenance period at any time. We barely noticed the need for the download, at least on the Xbox One and PC versions, so we could not say for sure what approximate size this patch would have on these two specific platforms, which are the ones we use most to work with Fortnite.

Fortnite currently has two events underway: the Star Wars one, and the Winter Festival. Both have a limited duration.
