On January 19, 2021, Epic Games officially announced the Fortnite Pele Cup. This new one will allow us to obtain free new football skins, belonging to the Remate set, in addition to the Pelé Celebration gesture. We tell you everything we know about this new competitive event of Season 5 of the Battle Pass of Fortnite Chapter 2:

According to Epic Games, it will be possible to participate in the Pele Cup at the following hours of Wednesday, January 20, 2021, depending on our game region:
Dates and times of the Pelé Cup for Europe
- EUROPE: 18:00 – 21:00 CET
To check the tournament schedule in your region, take a look at the “Competition” tab in the Fortnite Battle Royale menu.
Each session will last about three hours. During the time that the Pele Cup remains active, we can play up to a total of ten games to try to be in the best possible position to qualify for the free prizes. The game mode that will be played will be Solo.
How to participate in the Fortnite Pele Cup
Among the other requirements to participate in the Fortnite Pele Cup are all of the following:
- Have 2-Step Verification turned on
- Have a Fortnite account of at least level 30
Pelé Cup in Fortnite: scoring system
This is the scoring system that will be used in the Pelé Cup:
- Masterful victory: 20 points
- 2nd: 15 points
- 3rd: 13 points
- From 4th to 5th place: 10 points
- From 6th to 10th place: 8 points
- From 11th to 15th place: 7 points
- From 16th to 20th place: 6 points
- From 21st to 25th place: 5 points
- From 26th to 30th place: 4 points
- From 31st to 40th place: 3 points
- From 41st to 50th place: 2 points
- 51st to 75th place: 1 point
- Each elimination: 1 point

In order to obtain prizes such as the Pelé Celebration gesture, soccer skins and even a signed Santos FC jersey, we must be in the following positions, depending on our region:

- 1st to 3rd: FC Santos shirt signed.
- 1º-3,500º: Pelé’s Celebration gesture, Midfield Master skin, Don Defender skin, Galactic skin, Off-road Scorer skin, Excision skin, Right-handed Forward skin, Paradoned Goalkeeper skin, Derby Dominant skin, La Tiquitaca skin and Fenómena skin.
East Coast of USA
- 1st to 3rd: FC Santos shirt signed.
