Fortnite: Season 3 is delayed; new event date

Season 3 of Fortnite Chapter 2 is delayed. Epic Games gives a new start date for this one, and for the Season 2 episode of Chapter 2.

Although we already informed you that Season 2 of the Fortnite Battle Pass Chapter 2 would last until June 4, 2020, on May 28 Epic Games announced a new delay in the start of Season 3. We tell you everything announced just below:

Season 3 of Fortnite Chapter 2 will begin on Thursday, June 11, 2020

Through an official blog post, Epic Games has announced that Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 will last exactly one week. Season 2 was scheduled to end on Thursday, June 4 (and Season 3 would begin on the same day), but, finally, the change will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2020. They have not given any specific reason or detail that clarify the reason for this new delay.

Also, Epic Games has taken the opportunity to give us a new date for the event of the end of Season 2 of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Battle Pass, called "The Device". Instead of taking place on Saturday, May 30, 2020, it will finally take place on Saturday, June 6 at 8:00 p.m. CEST, which would be equivalent to:

  • Spain (peninsula and Balearic Islands): 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6

  • Spain (Canary Islands): 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6

  • Argentina, Chile and Uruguay: 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6

  • United States and Venezuela: 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6

  • Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico: 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6
