Epic Games has put certain clues in Fortnite Chapter 2 that make us think that rapper Travis Scott will give an in-game concert in Burning Sands.
With the arrival of patch 12.40 in Fortnite, several encrypted files were included in the game, the content of which was impossible to decrypt. Between Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, 2020, a series of hints have appeared in Fortnite Chapter 2 hinting that rapper Travis Scott will be giving an in-game concert, whose event codename is "Jerky." sometime in Season 2 of the Battle Pass, just like Marshmello already did over a year ago. We tell you everything we know below:
Fortnite: Various indications point to Travis Scott giving an in-game concert
As we said in the first paragraph, between Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, two curious elements appeared in the game. The first of these is a purple colored comet in the distance. We can see it if we enter a game and look at the sky towards 85º:
A mysterious purple kite has appeared in the sky
Several dataminers from Fortnite Battle Royale, such as lucas7yoshi, have been able to see what this object is like up close:

This item would be a "Fortnite-like" representation of Astroworld, Travis Scott's third album:
The object would be a representation of the Astroworld album cover
According to Lucas, this object would emit the following sound:
Jerky_Object_Loop-01.OGG has been leaked
i assume y'all can recognize this song? https://t.co/SK802xLaPs

… and, as other users indicate in the responses to this latest tweet, the sound is an extract from the song "Highest in the room" by Travis Scott:

On the other hand, the other "curious" object that has appeared in various areas of the game these days is a poster, a priori, somewhat cryptic:
These posters have appeared all over the map
As the FortTory dataminer comments, if we look closely at the poster, we will see how Burning Sands appears on it. From the icon of the planet we understand that space will have something to do ("Astroworld"), and from the icon of the musical note, we understand that, indeed, there will be a concert at this location:
Jerky (travis scott ??) event:
Jerky's event is most likely to be for the possible concert, when you play the LTM the safezone will end at SweatySands.
I also recently found an umap for a 19×19 island related to the event, a 19×19 island?

Considering all this factual information, it seems practically certain that there will be a Travis Scott concert at Arenas Ardientes in Fortnite, sometime in the (still) current season. Let's also note that the first references to the rapper in the game's source code appeared in February 2020:
BREAKING
A Travis Scott cosmetic set was added in v12.00
This confirms some form of collaboration between him and Fortnite. Exact details are not clear but its safe to say its probably a skin and some other stuff (as it is a set) pic.twitter.com/cLHsLfIGWH

Neither Epic Games nor Travis Scott have spoken about it on their respective social networks at the time of publication of this news. This does not necessarily mean that this information is false; the facts are there. As always, at Meristation we will be pending on any information in this regard, to keep you always up to date.
