Fortnite: Engaged Reels undergoes a remodel for the Star Wars Episode IX event
As we told you last December 4 with the arrival of patch 11.21, one of the minor changes on the stage was the appearance of a truck that brought heavy machinery to Committed Reels. The scenario has been modified again in the coming days without prior notice, and without there having been a new patch in between. At the level of files and code, this event has the code name «Galileo».
A loop ad is broadcast on the cinema screen
The most obvious changes are the withdrawal of the vast majority of the vehicles that had been placed facing the screen of the cinema, as well as the fact that there is more heavy machinery of works in the area. Engaged Reels is in this state as of December 10, 2019:

We have no official information on the matter beyond the announcement of the event on December 7. For now we can assume that the works of Committed Reels are due to the scope of this event. Somehow, Epic Games wants to give this area a face lift, and maybe add some Star Wars props.
