Fortnite and Quibi collaborate through the punk'd event, which will consist of broadcasting this hidden camera prank show on Committed Reels.
On April 10, 2020, the punk'd event will take place in Committed Reels at Fortnite Battle Royale, thanks to the collaboration between Epic Games and the Quibi platform. This is the first in-game event of Season 2 of the Fortnite Battle Pass Chapter 2. We tell you, below, what it is about:
Fortnite x Quibi: punk'd event, everything you need to know
At an undetermined time on April 10, 2020, at Engaged Reels, a Fortnite island location that simulates being an outdoor drive-in movie theater (and where the Star Wars event already occurred last December), episodes will air from punk'd, a hidden camera prank television show created in 2003 for MTV by Ashton Kutcher.
However, we will not have Kutcher as host of the program; In 2020, it was relaunched on the Quibi mobile short video platform, featuring artist Chance The Rapper. And it is precisely from this latest and most recent of this humorous program that content will be received in Fortnite, as announced from Quibi's own official Twitter account:
We're prepping the last few things before the big show tomorrow … #Quibi #Fortnite pic.twitter.com/H2MgdOjsXG

Some dataminers, such as Lucas7yoshi have already been able to extract from the game files what content will be played within Fortnite, simulating being projected on the film screen of Committed Reels:
here's the NowPlaying playlist video thingy:
found the stream url literally 10 days ago but it only became active recently (h / t @ spedicey1)
Spoiler alert and all that, watch it only if you want.

In order to enjoy this content without being killed in the game, apparently a new game list called "Now Playing" will be enabled, something like "Playing" in Spanish, in which we understand that we cannot die as long as that users can see the content projected in the cinema:
the "Now Playing" playlist has been added to the hotfix files, but it has not been enabled …
+ FrontEndPlaylistData = (PlaylistName = playlist_NowPlaying, PlaylistAccess = (bEnabled = false, CategoryIndex = 2, DisplayPriority = 12))
also some loot table changes that are probably nothing pic.twitter.com/10YsTBP26U
