Free Games This Week's Epic Games: Terror and ARPG

Epic does not offer this week the newest games on the market, but two notable and recommended titles

Epic Games has unveiled the free games it offers weekly to account holders at the Epic Games Store. Those selected from today until May 7 at 5:00 p.m. are Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Crashlands, notable indie games although with a few years and with enough sales on top to think that many interested parties have already played it.

Two quality games, although with years

If that were not the case, you are in luck. Amnesia is one of the most influential horror games of recent years, a distressing journey through fear and madness in which we were taught the suggestive power of a protagonist unable to fight the monsters that haunt us (it was not the first game to use that idea, but it did popularize the concept in the streaming era). His Metacritic average is an impressive 85.

Crashlands is an ARPG with a particular sense of humor in which we must survive on a wild planet full of opportunities and dangers, where we can build up to 500 types of objects, weapons and structures, build a base and make the dangerous place your own. It is a long-distance title, ideal for spending time – the main mission can take us about 40 hours with some somewhat repetitive collection activities. It has a 78 in Metacritic and a very positive evaluation on Steam.

Two-step activation

Epic has incorporated as a novelty the obligation to use two-step activation to be able to download the free games of the week (something that would be healthy to activate in any case, since it reduces the possibility of malicious access to your account). In this link we show you how to leave your account ready to download these titles and those that will arrive in the future.
