Epic’s newest update delivers a free twist: the Fortnite Panda Team Jr sidekick is now obtainable via the newly introduced Cuddles and Chaos mode.
Unlocking the Panda Team Jr Sidekick
To claim the sidekick you must participate in the Cuddles and Chaos gamemode, which debuted on July 23, 2026. Though the mode encourages gentle play, it still rewards players with XP quests that culminate in cosmetic rewards.
Precise Requirements and Order of Action
- Launch Fortnite on or after the launch date.
- Navigate to the Discover tab and select the Cuddles and Chaos option.
- Enter a match and start tackling the quests that appear.
- Complete a total of four quests to accumulate the necessary XP.
- Return to the lobby; a notification will confirm the addition of the Panda Team Jr sidekick to your collection.
Item Shop Availability
Because the sidekick is a dedicated quest reward, Epic has indicated it will not rotate into the Item Shop. The only method to acquire it remains the free quest route.
