The rumors about the PS5 launch, its games and hardware details are slowly piling up, so that it is only a matter of time before Sony gives in to the pressure and does nails with heads.
Via Reddit, however, the speculations about the launch games and beyond are heated up, which, if they ultimately apply, are quite exciting and, above all, would make Microsoft look pale, who would initially like to forego exclusive games for the Xbox.
Accordingly, Sony relies on a lot and popular exclusive games, including the return of older brands such as SOCOM or MotorStorm, which has been suspected for some time now. Here is an overview of the current rumors:
- New Killzone title from Guerilla Games (This title has been under lock and key for years. It appears to be a major departure from the rest of the franchise. In addition, the multiplayer mode is becoming more prominent.)

- New Ratchet & Clank from Insomniac Games (start of a new trilogy and continuation of the Future series that the game has developed since the remake in 2016)
- A new multiplayer title (Project Vanguard) from Remedy Entertainment (Sony plans to purchase Remedy based on the success of this game and some other variables. The title is reminiscent of a cross between Control, Star Trek and the film Gravity.)
- Wild Sheep Studio WiLD (The game was a mess in 2017 and lacking direction as Michel Ancer spent more time on Beyond Good & Evil 2. The game has since been upgraded to the Decima Engine and will be released on PS4 and PS5)
- New London Studio action title (This game was inspired by Hellblade and is a short but hopefully satisfying, Guy Ritchie-like open world adventure.)
- New Japan Studio action title (From the makers of Forbidden Siren, this game is more of a spiritual successor to Gravity Rush 2.
