GAME Spain: How to change game reservations to home delivery due to coronavirus?

The chain of stores explains in a tutorial how to convert store deliveries to shipments to our home, so that we do not leave the home.

With the coronavirus declared a pandemic by the WHO and Spain in alarm due to the rapid spread of the virus throughout the peninsula, from GAME Spain they have published a tutorial where they explain, step by step, how we can convert a store-made reservation to a shipment at home; circumstance that affects thousands of Spanish players at a time of high launch volume.

Don't leave home: receive your game in physical format without going to your store

With a multitude of shops closed —at least— for two weeks, according to the new report published through the BOE by the Government of Spain, what do I do with my store reservation?

It was one of the great concerns of players who, to stick to close examples in time with high commercial demand, are looking forward to the release of video games such as DOOM Eternal, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Resident Evil 3 Remake or Final Fantasy VII Remake. As stated in the official blog, if you want to change the place of delivery of your reservation, send it to another store or become a home delivery, you must enter the PARTNER AREA and click on "MY RESERVATIONS".

Then you will see all your reservations, so the next step is to click on "DELIVERY" of the product in which you want to change the type of shipping. A pop-up will appear (a small pop-up window) and two options will be presented: "Home delivery" and "I want to change the collection store". In this case, you must select the first service, so that you will receive the game or games you have reserved without leaving home.

The statement also includes two additional points to keep in mind. The first: if your reservation has manual confirmation you will receive an email when the game enters its warehouses to confirm your reservation and make the final payment for the product.

Secondly, if you have automatic payment activated, your reservation will be automatically confirmed and "the amount will be discounted from the payment method that you have assigned in your partner area".
