Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in May announced

Microsoft confirms the titles that are leaving Xbox Game Pass in the coming days, among which there are big names like GTA V, DOOM or Wolfenstein.

As every month, Microsoft has "celebrated" the arrival of May by confirming the titles that will no longer be available on Xbox Game Pass over the coming weeks. To the games that today, May 1, 2020, have abandoned the service (such as Braid, Fallout 4 or Ruiner) some of the biggest names in their catalog will soon be added, such as GTA V, DOOM or Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. The laggards have until May 15 to catch up with them, except in the case of GTA V, which will say goodbye a week before the rest, on the 7th. We leave you with the complete list:

  • Black desert
  • DOOM
  • GTA V (only until May 7)
  • The LEGO NINJAGO Film – The video game
  • Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
  • Mega Man Legacy Collection 2
  • Metal Gear Survive
  • The Banner Saga

May 2020 on Xbox Game Pass

Once the appointed date arrives, not only will they disappear from the Xbox Game Pass library, but the names of those who will also do so at the end of May will be announced. In any case, let no one be alarmed because this is not a riot, far from it. The exits leave room for new additions, and although these are being unveiled by surprise, in a sauteed and progressive way, some of the new faces of May are already known. The most important are, without a doubt, Streets of Rage 4, already available (coinciding with the game's own launch) and Red Dead Redemption 2, which will land on the service the same day that GTA V comes out. We will see these days what surprises and Extra names adds Microsoft to the following list:

  • Levelhead (already available)
  • Hyperdot (already available)
  • Streets of Rage 4 (available now)
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 (May 7)
