Genesect is already in the game code: everything we know
Genesect, the Generation V Artificial Bug / Steel Pokémon is already housed in the Pokémon GO code, Niantic's free-to-play title for mobile devices. The next update of the video game, which will be released over the next few days on both iOS and Android, already includes both the name of the creature and its sprite, including the shiny shape (which is red). The indications are that it will be the next Pokémon of a singular type, as suggested by the silhouette of the image shared in the official accounts of Pokémon GO, which is already immersed in its events in March.
The lore of Genesect leaves us one of the most interesting species in the universe of the saga, in the absence of knowing how Niantic will take advantage of its inclusion in the title in question. We are facing a Pokémon capable of using ROMs, objects that allow it to change its type depending on the ROM it has equipped. Thus, depending on which of them is used (HidroROM, PiroROM, FulgoROM and CrioRO), it can become a kind of Water, Fire, Electric or Ice type.
