New weapons

As in all updates, players will be able to get new weapons for their character. MiHoyo has already detailed what they will be:

  • Mountainbreaker – A five-star light sword. Always according to legend, this powerful weapon represents the signing of a certain contract. “It was used to cut mountain peaks.” When equipping Mountain Breaker, players will experience an increase in the protection of the character’s shield. Additionally, after an attack, it is possible to increase the ATK capacity to a maximum of 5 stacks.
  • Poison Wish: This is a four-star straight sword that seems to have a life of its own. It drips a poison that can corrupt even a dragon. The player who equips it will see that the Elemental Skill “produces increased damage and critical chance.”
  • Snow Stellar Silver: 4-star greatsword forged from stellar silver. When attacking enemies with Normal and Charged Attacks, there is a chance to create an icicle, dealing physical damage to the enemy when it falls.
  • Dragonthorn Spear – A four-star spear constructed from a dragon’s fang. According to the official description, it is surprisingly warm to the touch.
  • Eternal Cold: a four-star catalyst possessing “a strange icy will. It is possible to perceive “a faint sense of agony emanating from him.” You can get it if you reach Offering Level 10 in the Cold Eternal Tree, at which point you will get the blueprint for the forge.

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play game available on PS4, PS5, PC, and iOS and Android mobile devices.
