Encounter with the wind flowers is the name of the new version 1.4 of Genshin Impact, which will soon arrive on PC, PS4, PS5, iOS and Android.
Genshin Impact continues to show, day after day, that its universe is not going to stop growing. From miHoYo they strive to build a very complete title and constantly update it with new characters, events, game modes, areas to explore and much more. On this occasion we will be able to celebrate the “Meeting with the wind flowers”, an event that will take place in the city of Mondstadt and that we will be able to enjoy this same month of March. As with the Liyue Lantern Festival (which came with the last version 1.3), we found various missions, minigames and others and each of them had a different duration. Regarding the history of the event, the lore of the game tells us that the Wind Flower Festival originated as a way to honor the liberation of Mondstadt 2600 years ago. However, today has become an ideal time to express love and enjoy all kinds of outdoor games. To be able to celebrate it annually in style, the Knights of Favonius join the Adventurers Guild in order to organize a series of mini-games and challenges, which we can try alone or with friends. As we can see in the presentation trailer, we find a race with obstacle bubbles, having to shoot several moving targets of wind, moving along platforms that are falling … that is, several different minigames such as the Mechanical Arena presented in version 1.3.
Available rewards: protogems, weapons, and more
By participating in this event we will be able to get various rewards such as the exclusive objects “Festival commemorative balloon”, “Lyre of the breeze”, as well as the new 4-star weapon “Ode to the Wind Flowers”. Of course, we can also get a good load of protogems and we hope to receive a small reward each time we connect during the event, although this detail has yet to be confirmed. Of course, as we have seen in the trailer, the Mystery Boxes that we already know from previous events will return, something that will give us protogems and other interesting items.
The arrival of Rosaria and other prominent characters
As for characters, we have Rosaria, “the Blessed Unholy.” After meeting her for the first time two months ago in Dragonwing, she will be available as a new four-star playable character. Wielding a spear and with the force of Cryo, Rosaria pierces and pushes at enemies with her spear. Her Ultimate Ability allows Rosaria to attack with a powerful blow, dealing massive Cryo damage, while summoning an icy spear that deals Cryo damage to nearby enemies. It has not yet been confirmed, but everything indicates that we will have a new gachapon with her character, as well as being accompanied by the return of Venti, the 5-star protagonist who dominates the power of the wind.
