Sucker Punch’s new intellectual property swaps superheroes for samurai warriors and transports the player to Japan of the past.
Four unpublished pieces of conceptual art have just come to light by Sucker Punch, the studio behind Ghost of Tsushima, a new saga by the creators of InFamous. True to the aesthetic on which it is based, the images portray pictures of the territory of the rising sun: traditional buildings, fortifications under enemy siege, temples covered with snow and glazed ice and places in the countryside. The protagonist, Jin Sakai, can also be seen on the back of his horse – who, by the way, will not be able to die.
Sucker Punch has used social media to share these snapshots with players. At the same time, PlayStation Japan has released a video focused on customizing our main character. As it could not be otherwise, the warrior has numerous pieces of equipment that he can change to improve his characteristics and present an even fiercer appearance than usual. The ghost fights in the shadows, but it also knows how to wield its katana in fights to the death against skilled enemies with steel.

On July 17 exclusively for PS4
2020 is the year of the PlayStation 5 premiere, which means that the latest great exclusives for the current generation are also nearing the starting line. After several modifications to the calendar, also due to the coronavirus, Sony Interactive Entertainment has already released The Last of Us Part 2, the ambitious work of Naughty Dog. Marvel’s Iron Man will be next and Ghost of Tsushima will culminate an extensive exclusive catalog that has been brewing since 2013. Sucker Punch was one of the games that practically started the generation with InFamous: Second Son; now you will be in charge of putting the finishing touch.
Ghost of Tsushima will be ready next July 17 on PS4. The game is already gold, although it will have the mandatory patch on day 1.
