The Witcher recently showed on Netflix that video game adaptations can also work very well in series and films. Impressed by this success, the God of War Game Director now also speaks in favor of a possible implementation.
Corey Barlog said regarding The Witcher:
“I just think that games make great TV shows because you spend so much time with the characters in fantastic worlds. Games like television are like relationships with the characters, where films are more like a date. Both can be great. ”
However, Barlog also emphasizes that this is not intended to be any confirmation that a God of War series or similar is already in the works or in the planning, even if the franchise is one of the most valuable that Sony currently owns.
