Google Stadia confirms its 5 free games for Stadia Pro in June

Google's streaming game service reveals its cast of free titles within the subscription, which already has a total of 17 titles.

Google has announced the 5 new free games that it will include in the paid subscription modality Stadia Pro this June. Players subscribed to this program of 9.99 euros per month will access at no additional cost to a half dozen games that will promote the library of available works to 17: Panzer Dragoon Remake, Little Nightmares, Get Packed, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid and Superhot.

The five games, known to the general public and already available on other platforms —except Get Packed, which is a temporary exclusive—, will be playable from Monday June 1 with the same facilities as the rest of the service's titles: no times de caga, no downloads, saved in the cloud and available on both computers and Google Chrome, Chromecast Ultra and Android devices. Just use a compatible controller and … play.

At Get Packed we have to do some crazy moves with a strong sense of humor; Little Nightmares is aimed at adventure lovers with platforming touches, puzzles and stealth, while Panzer Dragoon: Remake is the new version of the mythical SEGA game, a shooter on rails where we have to overcome various phases on the back of a dragon. We continue with Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, a fighting game where the most characteristic characters of the series fight in a two-dimensional perspective. To finish, one of the most important independent games in recent years, an unconventional FPS where time passes only when we move: if we are still, everything stops.

Google Stadia currently has a catalog of several dozen titles, although the number will increase throughout 2020. The Stadia Pro pack costs 129 euros with three months of subscription (then it goes to the aforementioned 9.99 euros per month) and includes a Google controller and a Chromecast Ultra, to which must be added a Buddy Pass —three month gift to a friend—, and the full versions of Destiny 2 and Samurai Shodown. Two major confirmed releases for this year on the platform are Marvel’s Avengers, Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, all of them planned for the last quarter.
