Google Stadia reveals the three new free games for April in Stadia Pro

Google Stadia responds to complaints about the lack of game ads

The North American company presents the three titles that will be received at no additional cost by the players of the paid subscription Stadia Pro on April 1.

Google Games and Entertainment has revealed the three video games that will join the video game collection of the Stadia Pro subscription model from Google Stadia for this April. Players subscribed to the program (9.99 euros per month) will receive free Serious Sam Collection, Spitlings and Stacks on Stacks (on Stacks).

All three can be played in streaming from April 1 along with the other titles already available; such as Destiny 2: New Light, GRID, GYLT, Metro Exodus, SteamWorld gid 2, SteamWorld Quest or Thumper, among others.

It should also be remembered that Stadia announced two other games for this week, such as The Crew 2 and Lost Words: Beyond the Page.

Two exclusive development studios: Montreal and California

One of Stadia's most recent moves comes from California. Earlier this March we learned that Google's video game-focused division, Stadia Games and Entertainment, announced the opening of a new development studio based in Playa Vista, California, where new video games exclusive to Google Stadia will be launched. We are therefore talking about the company's second first party studio after the opening of the studio located in Montreal, Canada.

In addition, this new studio will feature Shannon Studstill as director; who to date was the principal director of Sony Santa Monica Studio.

After registering resolution problems with DOOM Eternal, the publisher has asked for patience while waiting for all those news and promises made months ago that are not yet available. Google Stadia will have more than 10 exclusive games in the first half of 2020 and little by little it is coming to new devices.

Google Stadia has a catalog of thirty titles, a number that will grow in the future. You can check here the price of each one of them. Stadia Pro has a starting price of 129 euros with three months subscription (later they are 9.99 euros per month) and includes a remote and a Chromecast Ultra unit, in addition to the Buddy Pass —three month gift to a friend—, Destiny 2 and Samurai Shodown.
