The fighting game of Arc System Works is scheduled for the first quarter of 2020 in Europe.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus, the new fighting game of Arc System Works, creators of Dragon Ball FighterZ, will be released on March 3 in the United States for PlayStation 4. Europe does not yet have a specific date, but Marvelous Europe maintains that it will land in the First quarter of 2020. Through a press release, the company has uncovered the video game's post-launch plans, as well as other product details.
The game will arrive in Spain with voices in English and Japanese, although the text will be localized to Spanish. The translation will cover all game modes, which includes the original story, framed in an RPG context. Regarding the downloadable content that will be published once the title is marketed, Marvelous recalled that Granblue Fantasy: Versus will have two character passes, which will add “a diverse group” of franchise fighters.
Character pack
Character Pass 1 will incorporate five additional characters, in addition to offering immediate access to the enigmatic hooded figure, known as Chaos Bringer. This antagonist will also be the final boss of the RPG mode, which can be unlocked by overcoming this mode. It is one of the astral that invaded Sky Realm centuries ago, before the war broke out. Locked under a seal in the Pandemonium, he was released by a fallen angel. He possesses a substance, the matter of chaos, capable of killing immortal beings. The other characters are:
- Narmaya Fightstyle: uses the Narmaya style, through which you can switch between two different positions, Dawnfly and Freeflutter, with different abilities.
- Soriz Fightstyle: when the charge indicator is full and the life points about to run out (30%), you can use a special power.
- Djeeta Fightstyle: Like Gran, Djeeta enjoys a simple and complete style of play.
- Fifth character: will be announced in a live March during the 6th anniversary of Granblue Fantasy.
From the second pass of characters nothing has been revealed, beyond which Belial will be erected as a playable character. Granblue Fantasy: Versus will include special bonuses for the mobile or browser game:
- Beat RPG mode to get 5,000 crystals.
- Beat RPG mode in hard mode to get Vyrn's costume for the main character.
- Those with this equipment will receive 3,000 crystals instead.
On the other hand, those who acquire the character pass will get:
- Chaos Bringer: Get a weapon that has not yet been released in Granblue Fantasy
- Narmaya: Narmaya special costume
- Soriz: Soriz's special costume
- Djeeta: special class costume for the main character
